WIBM in CSR appreciates the Frontliners

WIBM in 2021 saw a change in CSR Chair. All of us are unified in thanking outgoing CSR Chair Dr Ar Mariam Jamaluddin for her outstanding work during her tenure which included reaching out to flood areas with food parcels amongst others. The CSR Chair is now under our very able Sec Gen, Sr Azmiah Ab Rahman and the ever passionate AJK Norel Rais. they began a run to collect funds to feed our hard working Frontliners in nearby hospitals. Working with a local restaurant Bukit Jelutong, Cheritera Restaurant, hundreds of delicious meals and snacks were prepared for delivery! We managed to feed 200pax for Hospital Sungai Buloh and 100 pax for Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang! This was on 19th July 2021/9 Zulhijjah 1442. It was the Monday before Raya Aidil Adha! Credit to the restaurant, the food packed was yummylicious and enough to satiate even the most ravenous stomach!

The generousity of WIBM members were endless as the very same week, 23rdJuly 2021/ 13 Zulhijjah 1442, a Friday, again with Cheritera Restaurant in Bukit Jelutong, we reached out to Hospital Sungai Buloh and fed 150pax, 100pax at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and 50pax at Pusat Pemberian Vaksin di Puncak Alam!

WIBM members have always been very generous when it involves the the less fortunate and for this we must thank all involved.. the givers, the coordinators, the orderer, the chefs, sous chefs, the deliverers ( include lalamove drivers ) etc!. Most of all, why are us WIBM members so generous? Its to appreciate the very hardworking and tireless Frontliners who never complain yet ploughed onwards so we can be safe in our comfort zones. One can never be overflowed with kindness.
